Batch Is Back! - 2019 Season Tickets Now On Sale

Troy Batchelor

SWINDON’S team building has taken another major step forward with the return of former Grand Prix star Troy Batchelor.

Batchelor joins 2017 World Champion Jason Doyle and rider of the year Tobiasz Musielak back at the Abbey with the team taking shape nicely.
The news comes on the day popular Abbey man Nick Morris has left the club to join Premiership rivals Wolverhampton.
CFS Filtration Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: “This is a key signing for us, Batch can be a match winner and I think this is a move which is great for both rider and club.
“He knows Doyley well and they’ll feed off each other I’m certain of that and I know we’re going to see some strength at the top end of the team.
“Everything is positive right now. We’re all excited by the prospect of having Doyley back and when you add Toby and Batch it’s all looking very positive.
“We know the direction the rest of the team is going in and we are happy. Of course, all the talking will stop next March and it’s all about what happens out there on the track.”
Rossiter has sent his personal good wishes to Morris, who helped Robins win the league at his new club Wolves in 2017.
“As I said earlier, I didn’t really want to lose Nick but he’s at a good club and we wish him well apart from when he races against us!” said Rossiter.
“It was a hard decision leaving both Nick and David Bellego out and I hope it’s not the last we see of them in Swindon colours.”
SWINDON are delighted to offer fans a special early bird offer on season tickets for the 2019 SGB Premiership season.
Supporters have until midnight on January 6 to buy tickets for just £245 for adults, £200 for concessions (senior citizens/students) and £45 for children before prices increase.
The club are also offering fans the chance to spread the cost, with a Direct Debit option on early bird sales to spread the cost over three instalments (£85, £80, £80 for adults, £70, £65, £65 for concessions).
As with last season, fans will be issued with vouchers which can be used for any Swindon team events including league, cup and play-off meetings.
This year there will be 15 tickets in each season ticket book, and fans will continue to receive a free meeting programme and receive rain-off text alerts.
Tickets are on sale online (http://www.swindon-speedway.com/ticketoffice), or by completing the attached form and enclosing a cheque made payable to Swindon Speedway as well as a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
For fans who do not wish to pay by Direct Debit but still wish to spread the cost, the club is prepared to accept three post-dated cheques payable on 15th January, 15th February and 15th March.
The Robins are preparing for an exciting season, with team plans coming along nicely having already unveiled the return of former World Champion Jason Doyle along with Troy Batchelor and Tobiasz Musielak.
“We’re looking forward to next season, and we’re happy with how our team is looking,” team boss Alun Rossiter said.
“We’ve put together a season ticket package that I think offers fans great value, and hopefully we’ll continue to receive great backing from the town of Swindon as we look to have a successful 2019.”
