Titans send Guernsey down

 

TAUNTON Titans turned on the style in the second half to beat Guernsey 50-19 away in National Two South.

It enabled Titans to pull off the season's double over the islanders who will be relegated.
Titans led 12-5 at half time after a well-contested first half before running in six tries in the second half.
Chris Francis led the spree with two tries, others coming from Matt Jess, Lewis Webb, Connor Baker, Sam Prior, Connor Banks and Freddie Frazer, with Gary Kingdom kicking five conversions.
Having already clinched fifth spot, Titans have one more game to end the season - away to Worthing Raiders on Saturday week.
If they win at Worthing, it will be Titans' third double in four weeks, having beaten the Raiders 62-24 at the Commsplus Stadium on the opening day of the season.
