Gold medalist Maddie Hinch returning to King’s College, Taunton, to run camps

 

FOLLOWING the runaway success of her last visit former King’s College pupil turned Olympic gold medallist, Maddie Hinch, will be returning to Taunton this summer to run two further Hockey Goalkeeping Coaching Camps at the school.



Following on from the runaway success of her last visit former King’s College pupil turned Olympic gold medallist, Maddie Hinch, will be returning to Taunton this summer to run two further Hockey Goalkeeping Coaching Camps at the school.

Hinch, began her career as a goalkeeping career after being spotted at school diving and catching during a game of rounders at school.

She was crowned ‘Female Goalkeeper of the Year’ in 2016 after an impressive Olympic final shoot-out against the Netherlands at Rio, where she helped secure the gold medal for Team GB, and has since gone onto win the award again.

The camps will run over the weekend of the 29-30 June, with the Saturday designed for those aged 16 and over, and the 30th for those between 8 and 15 years old.
