TAUNTON Civil Service Under 12s Hockey team won the Somerset County Championship that took place at King;s Bruton on Sunday.

The Taunton Civil Service side were in almost unstoppable form beating Bruton 7-0, Chard 8-0, Yeovil and Sherborne 5-0, Shepton Mallet 3-0, Taunton Vale 4-0 and drawing 2-2 with Cheddar Valley.

The Civil Service side topped the group to lift the Somerset Under 12 County Championship and now progress through to the regional final that takes place at Clifton on Sunday 26th April.
