Around 4,000 expected for point to point

TIVERTON Foxhounds are expecting another big attendance - of around 4.000 - for their annual point to point being staged at Chipley Park near Wellington, in Somerset, on Sunday.

There are seven races with the start time being 12 noon, half an hour later than last year.
Races include a 1,000 mixed open, which is sure to draw in the top horses, jockeys and trainers from around the country. It is also a qualifier for mixed open finals at Cheltenham in May along with the Skinners Ladies finals to be held at Stratford-on-Avon - also in May.
The course offers fantastic parkland viewing with a long uphill finishing straight which provides thrilling finishes.
Entrance to the course is 10 per person to a max of 40 per car.
