On Tuesday T&P Ladies took part in the Christmas Bowmaker competition, a 12-Hole Stableford with two scores to count on the par 4s and 5s and 3 scores on the par 3s.

A bonus "Christmas Present" of 5 points was awarded for holing a shot from off the green and a bonus "Stocking Filler" of 3 points for holing a single putt on the green rewarded tactical play!

The competition was followed by a Soup and Sandwiches Lunch plus two birthday cakes to celebrate our six Octogenarians – Jean Kennedy, Vi Gray, Janet Smart, Jackie Lynn, Liz Reeve and Anne Watson – all of whom still play golf regularly.

The winners of the competition were Jane Ledsham, Sheila Beresford and Liz Reeve with 88 points, second place went to  Mary-Jo Shepherd, Anna Rees and Vi Gray with 82, while in third place were Marlene Ewens, Mary Perrett and Katy Davies  with 79.
