Wembdon and Lydeard Reserves bid for top spot


WEMBDON'S 100 per cent record will be at stake when they play at home to third-placed Bishops Lydeard Reserves in the first division of the Invest Southwest Taunton Saturday League this weekend.

Wembdon will go above leaders Bridgwater Sports, who have no league game, if they win while Lydeard could go top if they are victorious by two clear goals.
In the second division, table-toppers North Curry are home to Dulverton Town who have only played three league games this season.
Fixtures - Division One: Morganians v Alcombe Rovers, North Petherton v Porlock, Watchet Town Reserves v Galmington Dragons, Wembdon v Bishops Lydeard Reserves, Westonzoyland v Creech Cougars. Division Two: Bridgwater Grasshoppers v Stogursey, Bridgwater Sports Reserves v Middlezoy Rovers Athletic, Minehead Reserves v Butlin's, North Curry v Dulverton Town, White Eagles v Norton Fitzwarren.
