Bathpool face Tiger Old Boys

BATHPOOL will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the first division in the Keyline Taunton and District Sunday Football League when they play away to Tiger Old Boys this weekend.

The current pacesetters maintained their 100 per cent record and stretched their lead at the top to nine points with a 10-0 away victory over former champions Old Inn last weekend with Dale Webber leading the spree with five goals..
They will face an Old Boys team which failed to raise a side last time out against Mariners who were awarded all three points. With only six teams playing in the first division, this is worrying trend in the league.
It is a long time since Old Inn were on the end of a hammering but they can put things right this weekend when they play second-placed Mariners today.
The other game in the top division is between bottom side Ash Rangers, who have not won a game, and Hamilton, in third spot.
Shepherd Rest, who have won all their games and top Division Two, play at home to Huish Allstars while second-place Watchet All Stars, who could not raise a side last weekend, are away to struggling Cotford Saints who are still pointless.
Third division leaders West Monkton will be looking to make it seven wins from seven games when they play away to Taunton Wanderers who have yet to record a victory.
Monkton are six points clear of second-placed Blue Park Rangers who are home to Hamilton Reserves, while Wellington based and third in the table Moortown are away to Williton Rockets who were another side who failed to fulfil their fixture last weekend.
