Somerset's 2019 fixtures just published.

 

Somersetís 2019 fixture list has for all three of the major domestic compteitoins has just been published.

Somerset will begin their quest for the Championship glory with a home fixture against newly promoted Kent on Friday April 5th at the Cooper Associates County Ground.
This will be followed by a trip to Trent Bridge to take on Nottinghamshire.
Champions Surrey will visit Taunton in May whilst we conclude our fixtures with a home clash against Essex in September.

The first white ball competition for Somerset is the Royal London One Day Cup, which culminates in a Lordís final on May 25th.

Somerset begin the road to Lordís in the Royal London One-Day Cup in similar fashion to the red-ball competition when we welcome Kent Spitfires to the Cooper Associates County Ground in April.

Somerset also welcome Essex Eagles, Hampshire and Surrey to Taunton in the competition. The highly anticipated local derby against Gloucestershire will take place on April 28th when they travel to the Brightside Ground, Bristol.

Somersetís opening Vitality Blast match of 2019 will see them travel to Glamorgan on July 18th, whilw the first home match in the competition takes place on July 26th against Hampshire.

The big local derby clashes against Gloucestershire will be at the Cooper Associates County Ground on Friday August 16th and at the Brightside Ground, Bristol on Friday August 23rd.
Somerset will face this years semi-final opponents Sussex Sharks in Taunton on Sunday July 28th.

Meanwhile the womenís T20 side Western Storm will be looking to make it four Finalís Days in a row and begin their quest for glory at Loughborough Lightning on Tuesday August 6th.
They take on reigning champions Surrey Stars on Tuesday August 21st and Sunday August 25th.

The Storm will play at the Cooper Associates County Ground on Saturday August 10th against Lancashire Thunder, Wednesday August 21st against Surrey Stars and Wednesday August 28th against Yorkshire Diamonds.

On additional fixture that is likely to attract interest is the 4 day Womenís Test Match between England and Australia that starts at the Cooper Associates County Ground on Thursday 18th July.
