Second hat trick seals Somerset three day victory

 

CRAIG Overton took a hat trick, the second of the match for Somerset to help them to beat Notts at Trent Bridge by an innings and 146 runs.

Overton removed Ben Slater, Samit Patel and Riki Wessels in successive balls, all three caught at second slip by Marcus Trescothick.

Josh Davey then wrapped up Notts' second innings with 3 for 20 as they were bowled out for 184≥

Somerset end runners up in the championship..
